

I was on the phone for hours with Adobe without help, then on the phone with Apple without help and finally on Chat with Adobe again. Looking through this community, it looks like this has been going on since this chip came out but I saw that one person with a MacBook Air was able to get it to run, but it wasn't running Monterey. When I downloaded the LR Classic the button showed but it did nothing.

I expected to have to transfer the license to the new computer but the issue went way beyond that.

My old late 2013 MacBook Pro was okay but would not run the 64-bit new version of LR Classic which made the new Masking feature unavailable. I just bought the new MacBook Pro hoping that it would be screaming fast for processing on Lightroom Classic.
